Country’s largest car maker Maruti Suzuki will be opening the Year 2019 with the launch of its next generation Maruti WagonR. The car which is quite popular in India from decades will be getting a “BIGGER” Avatar on 23rd January 2019. The company has teased a photo that carries a bold caption “BIG NEW WagonR“.
What to expect from 2019 Maruti WagonR?
Looking at the teasers and leaked images of upcoming 2019 Maruti WagonR, we can say it is going to be a very hot choice for consumers in the entry-level category. As advertized the car is going to be BIG and spacious than its outgoing model. The 2019 model Maruti WagonR is expected to get more powerful engine and additional safety features.
2019 Maruti WagonR Interiors
When it comes to Interiors of next generation 2019 Wagonr, The cabin feels more upgraded and you could notice multiple changes inside like brand new instrument console, infotainment system ( Touch based) and dual-colored dashboard. The new 2019 WagonR is expected to get Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as additional connectivity features in its top trim.

Other than exterior updates, the 2019 WagonR gets a new 1.2-litre petrol engine which is likely taken from Swift hatchback. The 2019 Maruti WagonR will retain the existing 1 litre 3-cylinder K-Series engine and will be made available in both manual (5-speed) as well as AMT options.

When launched, the 2019 Maruti WagonR will take on its rivals like new Hyundai Santro/Grand i10, Tata Tiago, Renault Kwid and Datsun GO. The price of new BIG WagonR has not been announced yet.
