The much-anticipated all-new Jeep® Compass – Trailhawk has been launched competitively at an introductory special price of INR 30.72 lakhs (Ex-Showroom).
The Jeep® Compass – Trailhawk is meant to be one of the most coveted SUVs in the country and is the off-road-focused version of the Jeep Compass. It integrates premium interiors and adventure DNA optimally.
The Jeep Compass – Trailhawk has been fine-tuned to provide the best blend of on-road and off-road ride comfort and handling. The all-new Jeep Compass – Trailhawk has several points of differentiation and significant changes from the previous generation of the SUV.
Off-Road Performance
The bumpers on this highly anticipated variant are different from those on the standard Jeep Compass, enabling superior approach and departure angles. In addition to the usual Jeep Compass features, the Jeep Compass – Trailhawk has a “Rock” mode (AWD).
The model’s raised suspension allows it to wade in water up to 19 inches deep, making it ideal for off-roading in comparison to the Jeep Compass.
While the turning radius remains unchanged at – 5.7m, the SUV boasts 225/65R17 all-season tyres that provide better grip on a variety of terrain, including sand, mud, snow, and even rocks.
Design and Styling
The all-new Jeep Compass – Trailhawk sports LED Projector Headlamps, an Auto-dimming rear view mirror, LED Front Cornering Fog Lamps, a new Grey Seven Slot Grille with Black Surround, Rain Sensing Front Wipers and 43.18 cm (R17) Trailhawk Alloy Wheels.
A 360-degree parking camera, 12V Power Outlet, UconnectTM with 25.6 cm (10.1) Touchscreen Display R1 High, Integrated navigation and voice commands, 9 Amplified Branded speakers with Subwoofer are some of the elite cabin features of the Jeep Compass – Trailhawk.
In addition to these features, the Jeep Compass – Trailhawk is distinguished by the ‘Trail Rated’ badge, which puts the SUV in a select league.
Powertrain and Transmission
The remastered Jeep Compass – Trailhawk utilises the 2.0L Multijet II Diesel from its predecessor, which produces 170 hp and 350 NM. This engine is coupled to a nine-speed automatic gearbox, which is the best in its class.
The off-roading credentials of the Jeep Compass – Trailhawk are complemented by a Crawl Ratio of 20:1, a Ramp Travel Index of 321, a Turning Radius of 5.7m, a Jeep Select-Terrain system with five driving modes, a frequency-damped suspension, and more.
