The new model showcases the Jeep brand’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of capability with the introduction of its first full-float Dana rear axle. The 2024 Wrangler Unlimited and Rubicon models will be offered with the proven GME 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine, boasting 270 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, paired with a standard eight-speed automatic transmission and engine stop-start (ESS) functionality.
This engine incorporates a twin-scroll, low-inertia turbocharger with an electronically actuated waste gate, ensuring exceptional responsiveness and performance. Notably, the turbo is directly mounted to the cylinder head, enhancing durability, while a dedicated cooling circuit regulates temperatures of intake air, throttle body, and turbocharger components.
The 2.0-liter turbocharged I-4 engine belongs to the Global Medium Engine architecture family. It features Double Overhead Camshafts (DOHC), dual independent camshaft timing, and a cooled exhaust gas recirculation (C-EGR) system, contributing to both impressive performance and reduced fuel consumption.

Notably, Wrangler Rubicon models feature an electronic front sway-bar disconnect, enhancing wheel travel for conquering challenging landscapes with ease.
Advanced Safety and Security
Safety is paramount in the development of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler, which boasts an extensive array of more than 85 available advanced safety and security features. Standard across all models for the 2024 model year are first- and second-row side curtain airbags, complementing the standard driver and passenger front airbags, as well as front seat-mounted driver and passenger side airbags.
The New Wrangler further introduces second-row outboard seatbelts equipped with pretensioners and load limiters, alongside structural enhancements to bolster side-impact performance. The standard ADAS (Advanced driver assistance systems) includes Forward Collision Warning with Advanced Brake Assist, Auto High beam Headlamps and Adaptive Cruise Control with stop and go functionality.
The New Wrangler also incorporates ParkSense front and rear park-assist systems with ParkView rear backup camera with dynamic grid lines as standard, the Rubicon model features an off-road camera with front and rear views. Traction control and electronic stability control (ESC) with electronic roll mitigation are standard on all Wrangler models, further enhancing safety and stability on various driving surfaces.

Additionally, the Wrangler features standard 12-volt accessory outlets throughout, while a 230-volt AC outlet caters to powering select personal electronics with three-prong plugs.
Bookings for the New Wrangler 2024 with all variants are now open at Jeep dealerships, and on the Jeep India website (jeep-india.com) with Unlimited and Rubicon, priced at INR 67.65 lakhs and INR 71.65 Lakhs (ex-showroom) respectively while deliveries are expected to start from mid-May 2024.
