TVS Motor Company Launches New TVS NTORQ 150 Hyper Sport Scooter

The streets of India just got a lot more thrilling. TVS Motor Company, a brand long celebrated for its innovation in the two-wheeler space, has officially pulled the covers off its latest masterpiece: the TVS NTORQ 150. While the NTORQ 125 has been a consistent chart-topper in the sporty scooter segment, this new “hyper-sport” sibling is here to redefine the game, setting a new benchmark for performance and technology.

This isn’t just a simple engine upgrade; it’s a complete evolution. The NTORQ 150 is purpose-built to cater to the new generation of riders who demand more from their daily commute—more power, more style, and more connectivity. And with its aggressive, stealth-aircraft-inspired design, it looks every bit as fast as it feels.

TVS Motor Company, a leading global manufacturer of two-wheelers and three-wheelers, today announced the highly anticipated launch of the new TVS NTORQ 150. Building on the immense success of the NTORQ brand, the new 150cc hyper sport scooter is engineered to meet the evolving aspirations of Gen Z riders who seek a blend of high performance, cutting-edge technology, and futuristic design.

2025 TVS NTORQ 150 Price and Variants

The TVS NTORQ 150 will be available in two variants:

  • TVS NTORQ 150 (Standard): Priced at an introductory ₹1.19 Lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India).
  • TVS NTORQ 150 TFT: Priced at an introductory ₹1.29 Lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India), this top-end variant features a 5-inch full-color TFT instrument cluster.

The heart of this beast is a new 149.7cc, air-cooled, 3-valve engine. This powerful mill churns out a solid 13.2 PS of power and 14.2 Nm of torque, pushing the scooter from 0 to 60 km/h in a mere 6.3 seconds, with a claimed top speed of 104 km/h. This makes it one of the quickest and most powerful scooters in its class, ready to give its rivals, like the Yamaha Aerox 155 and the Hero Xoom 160, a serious run for their money.

But the NTORQ 150 is not just about raw power; it’s a showcase of smart engineering. It comes in two distinct variants to suit different riders. The standard model, priced at an introductory ₹1.19 Lakh (ex-showroom, all India), offers an incredible value proposition. For the tech-savvy crowd, the top-tier TFT variant, priced at ₹1.29 Lakh (ex-showroom), is a game-changer. It features a full 5-inch TFT cluster that integrates with TVS’s SmartXonnect™ system, giving you access to over 60 connected features, including Alexa and smartwatch integration, turn-by-turn navigation, and even live vehicle tracking.

Safety has also been a key focus. The scooter comes with a single-channel ABS and, a first for its segment, a traction control system, giving riders more confidence and control on varying road conditions. The riding experience is further enhanced by two distinct riding modes: Street and Race, allowing you to tailor the scooter’s performance to your needs.

Key Highlights of the New TVS NTORQ 150:

  • Performance: Powered by a 149.7cc, air-cooled, 3-valve engine, the scooter delivers 13.2 PS of power and 14.2 Nm of torque. It boasts a 0-60 km/h acceleration in just 6.3 seconds and a top speed of 104 km/h.
  • Technology: The scooter comes equipped with TVS SmartXonnect™, offering over 50 connected features including Alexa and smartwatch integration, turn-by-turn navigation, vehicle live tracking, and OTA updates. The TFT variant further enhances this with a high-resolution color display.
  • Design: Inspired by stealth aircraft, the NTORQ 150 features a forward-biased stance, quad-projector headlamps, aerodynamic winglets, and a naked motorcycle-style handlebar, giving it an aggressive and sporty appeal.
  • Safety: The new NTORQ 150 is fitted with single-channel ABS and a segment-first traction control system, along with crash and theft alerts, and emergency brake warnings.

The TVS NTORQ 150 will be available in four striking color options: Stealth Silver, Racing Red, Turbo Blue, and Nitro Green. Bookings for the new scooter have commenced at all authorized TVS Motor Company dealerships across India.
