Kia Seltos to Get New Optional Trims and Tech Upgrades
The Kia Seltos will get two new variants as part of its product cycle. These upcoming additions will serve as optional variants of the existing GTX and X-Line trims. Buyers looking to upgrade their SUV experience can expect these to be officially branded as the GTX (O) and X-Line (O) variants.
As automakers continuously refine their offerings to meet consumer demand, these new trims aim to bring highly requested features to the Seltos lineup, further enhancing its position in the competitive SUV market.
Anticipated Features and Technology Upgrades
Kia is preparing to equip these optional models with advanced cabin technology. Reports suggest that the optional features will include a heads-up display linked to the seat memory function. Furthermore, a dashboard camera is expected to be included as part of the package.
Interestingly, the heads-up display had been showcased during the global unveiling but has not been fitted to the current lineup. The dashboard camera, conversely, is expected to be added on at the dealer level rather than straight from the factory.

Expected Pricing and Lineup Positioning
When it comes to the cost, these new trims will be positioned strategically within the Seltos hierarchy. They are expected to be offered at a price premium over the standard GTX and X-Line variants. However, they will be priced under the ADAS-enabled models. Currently, the Kia Seltos has an on-road price starting at Rs. 13.68 Lakh onwards in Bangalore.
At this time, there is no clarity if there will also be GTX (O) (A) and X-Line (O) (A) trims. If launched, these new optional models will become the new top trims for the SUV.

Five-Star Bharat NCAP Safety Rating
Beyond new features, the Seltos brings strong safety credentials to the table. The Seltos recently achieved a five-star BNCAP crash test rating. In these rigorous tests, the SUV scored 31.70 out of 32 for adult occupant safety.
Even more impressively, it scored 45 out of 49 for child occupant safety, which is now the highest score among its class. This makes it the second Kia to get a five-star BNCAP rating. The first model to achieve this score was the Syros, which achieved the rating in April 2025.
