Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace at The Detroit Motor Show
Volkswagen Tiguan is expected to be launched in India this year. The German automaker, Volkswagen has now displayed another more bigger and lengthier SUV christened as Tiguan Allspace at the ongoing The Detroit Motor Show which is also known as North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) .
Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace Design – Exterior Details
When it comes to exterior, the all new Tiguan Allspace adopts Volkswagen’s very own “clean and timeless design DNA”. The all new Tiguan from Volkswagen is based on Modular Transverse Matrix (MQB) platform which has better, wider lower stance.
The design of the Tiguan Allspace exhibits more stronger character lines along with the LED lighting. Tiguan is also an award winning car for its design in the European market.
Coming to the dimensions aspects, gets a 26 degree approach angle which is good for off-roading. Over the standard Volkswagen Tiguan, the Allspace edition is larger – that is – 215 mm in length, including 110 mm in increased wheelbase. The extra space is utilised for third row of seats or 115 litres of bootspace.
Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace Design – Interior details
When it comes to interiors of all new Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace, the car features cloth seats on entry level models. The Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace receives a rhombus pattern in order to offer a premium look.
Other highlights of all new Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace includes: digital cockpit display, Volkswagen Car-Net system that comes with smartphone integration (Support for Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Mirror Link). The Tiguan AllSpace Interiors is also loaded with Fender audio system, 8-way power adjustable driver seat, heated front seats and steering wheel, panoramic sunroof and foot-activated power tailgate.
Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace – Safety
Volkswagen is always a step ahead when it comes to safety features. The Tiguan AllSpace’s safety features includes many number of driver-assist technologies like standard rear view camera, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) that comes with stop-go function, Forward Collision Warning and Autonomous Emergency Braking (Front Assist) which comes with Pedestrian Monitoring; Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Traffic Alert and a Lane Departure Warning (Lane Assist). Tiguan AllSpace also features Automatic Post-Collision Braking system.
In India, the Tiguan is much expected car of the year. The AllSpace edition of Tiguan might make it to Indian market only after Tiguan’s official release here.
