TVS Motor Company registered a growth of 4% with sales increasing from 271,801 units in January 2018 to 282,630 units in the month of January 2019.
Two-Wheeler
Total two-wheelers registered a growth of 2% with sales increasing from 262,995 units in January 2018 to 269,277 units in January 2019. Domestic two-wheeler sales registered 226,992 units in January 2018 to 228,654 units in January 2019.
Scooter sales of the Company registered sales of 85,299 units in January 2019 as against 85,521 units in January 2018. Motorcycle sales grew by 13% with sales increasing from 98,649 units in January 2018 to 111,253 units in January 2019.
Exports
The Company’s total exports grew by 23% from 42,802 units registered in the month of January 2018 to 52,650 units in January 2019. Two-wheeler exports grew by 13% increasing from 36,003 units in January 2018 to 40,623 units in January 2019.
Three-Wheeler
Three-wheeler of the Company grew by 52% increasing from 8,806 units in January 2018 to 13,353 units registered in January 2019.
