To mark the popularity gained by Glanza amongst customers nationwide and further add to the festive cheer, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) introduced the new entry-level variant G MT (Manual) to expand the Toyota Glanza family.

The Toyota Glanza has received an encouraging response from the young ‘First Time Toyota Buyers’. The company has sold over 11000 units of the Glanza, since its launch in India in the month of June. Despite the current slowdown in the industry which has resulted in slump in domestic sales, Glanza sales have shown a positive momentum.

The new variant of Toyota Glanza is just as stylish on the inside as it is on the outside. It has an ergonomic design that is plush and comfy and one-of-a-kind interiors with dual-tone seat fabric, blended perfectly with safety features that are truly class apart. Equipped with a powerful yet fuel-efficient 1.2 litre petrol engine to deliver a superior driving experience, this latest offering from Toyota is BS-VI compliant, producing 82.9 PS @ 6000 rpm and 113Nm of torque at 4200 rpm. Further enhancing customer delight, the company is also offering superior warranty of 3 year/100K Kms extended up to 5 year/220K Kms along with the ‘Toyota ownership’ experience, Q-Service app utilization and Toyota Connect facilities, apart from attractive finance schemes.

The millennials today are looking at the premium hatchback as their first car. With superior exterior and interior styling, more interior space, better comfort sophisticated features, upscale fit and finish and premium technology, the premium hatchback is increasingly becoming the first car choice among the youth. These buyers are driven by emotional factors (updated styling, more features, comfort and space) in addition to rational factors (VFM, resale value and fuel efficiency). They are looking for a good product with a world class experience. And the Glanza is a complete package of all the requirements of an intender in this segment. Glanza offers the customers the balance of compact, stylish car with more advanced features, smart infotainment system, safety, space and comfort.

Speaking on the launch of the new variant, Present at the launch Mr. N. Raja, Deputy Managing Director, Toyota Kirloskar Motor said,

Firstly, we would like to thank our customers for showing their never ending trust and confidence in Toyota products.  We are happy that Glanza backed by Toyota’s unique sales and service efficiency, has been able to delight the millennial young generation, mainly the ‘First Time Toyota Buyers’.  We are closely evaluating millennial customer needs and will keep upgrading our products and services to cater to the young car owners.

We are introducing an entry level variant at 6.98 lakhs (Ex-showroom Delhi) in the Glanza family to expand the range of options for Toyota customers.  This new offering would further add to the celebrations of the festivities. We are happy to inform that with focused marketing activities we have been able to attract 3 times more first time Toyota buyers for Glanza as compared to other Toyota models. Also, apart from first time buyers it has helped us provide additional car to our existing customers suited to their needs.

A true believer of the ‘Customer First’ philosophy, Toyota recently launched ‘Toyota Edge’, an ownership program especially designed for Toyota customers. Toyota Edge provides comprehensive ownership solutions to the customers empowering them to build their own program, and customize it as per their requirements with value-added services including: Toyota Protect (for three years), Toyota Extended Warranty (for five years), Maintenance Plan (for three years), Toyota Accessories and Extended Warranty (for five years) coupled with easy finance options from Toyota Financial Services. This program promises to be inflation-proof as prices of the ownership elements remain unchanged. It also offers convenient monthly installment options to the customers to make payment for the ownership cost of the vehicle.

Bookings for the new G-MT variant of Toyota Glanza are open for customers now.
