Maruti Suzuki India Limited is taking the ownership experience of its latest models, the New Age Baleno, New XL6, and Next-Gen Ertiga, to a whole new level with its latest Over-The-Air (OTA) update. This update to 2023 model year cars of Baleno, XL6 and Ertiga includes new connectivity features that make the driving experience safer, more indulgent, and immersive.
Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in 2023 Baleno, 2023 XL6 and 2023 Ertiga
With this update, customers of the Baleno, XL6, and Ertiga can now enjoy seamless connectivity with their smartphones through Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The update will be available on the SmartPlay Pro & Pro+ Infotainment System.
Maruti Baleno
Head-Up Display (HUD) in 2023 Ertiga, 2023 Baleno and 2023 XL6
Customers of the Baleno will also be able to enjoy turn-by-turn navigation on the Head-Up Display (HUD), which will make it easier for drivers to keep their eyes on the road. This feature is also available on the speedometer Multi-Information Display (MID) for the Baleno, Ertiga, and XL6, but only with Android Auto, not with Apple CarPlay.
Surround Sense Upgrade in 2023 Maruti Ertiga and 2023 Maruti XL6
In addition to the above features, the Ertiga and XL6 will also receive a Surround Sense upgrade powered by ARKAMYS. This premium acoustic tuning system offers signature ambiences that are designed to suit different moods and enhance the driving experience.
Easy Installation
Customers can easily install the update either by downloading it from Maruti Suzuki’s official website or by using their smartphones. The SmartPlay Pro Sync app must be installed on the smartphone to access these new features.
Maruti Suzuki’s Commitment to Upgrades Maruti Suzuki has a history of upgrading its models with new connectivity features. The company recently rolled out similar updates for the Brezza, and its flagship SUV, the Grand Vitara, was introduced with these features at its launch in September 2022.
