Hyundai 120 kW DC Fast Charging in Delhi: Network Overview and Key Details

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has expanded its public EV infrastructure by inaugurating 120 kW DC fast-charging stations across key locations in New Delhi. Developed in partnership with Statiq, this high-speed charging network aims to reduce charging times, lower range anxiety, and strengthen electric vehicle adoption across the National Capital Region.

Key Features of Hyundai’s Delhi Fast-Charging Network

  • 120 kW Charging Capacity: Delivers high-speed DC fast charging to significantly reduce vehicle charging downtime.
  • Partner Network Integration: Infrastructure setup across New Delhi is established in collaboration with Statiq.
  • Multi-App Accessibility: Accessible directly through the myHyundai app as well as other major EV charging management applications.
  • Universal Access: Features digital payment, advance booking, and live station discovery open to EV owners across various vehicle brands.

The myHyundai App and Charging Ecosystem The myHyundai application serves as a central platform for EV owners to discover charging locations, navigate to stations, reserve charging slots in advance, and complete digital transactions. Beyond Hyundai’s proprietary network, the app integrates with multiple Charge Point Operators to offer access to over 38,000 charging points across India.

As part of the network launch on World EV Day, Hyundai offered complimentary charging to Hyundai EV owners from September 9 to September 11, 2026, across its proprietary public stations booked via the app.

Hyundai EV Portfolio and Infrastructure Roadmap

  • Current Lineup: Includes the IONIQ 5 in the premium segment and the CRETA Electric.
  • Upcoming Pipeline: Plans are underway to introduce a localized, mass-market SUV EV built on a dedicated platform.
  • Proprietary Network Expansion: Scaling from 185 DC fast-charging stations (ranging from 60 kW to 240 kW) across 105 cities to 600 proprietary stations by 2030.
  • Workforce & Service Expansion: HMIL is expanding its network to 820 touchpoints and 650 workshops by FY26-27, while training over 17,000 sales and 7,600 service personnel.
