Atumobile, a Hyderabad-based electric vehicle manufacturing company, has commenced nationwide delivery of its latest product, the Atum Vader. This high-speed café racer style electric bike is India’s first of its kind and is receiving rave reviews for its impressive features and unique design. The company’s first Atum Vader was delivered to a customer in Telangana.
The Atum Vader boasts a maximum speed of 65 km/h, a range of 100 km/charge, a waterproof battery pack with a capacity of 2.4 kWh, LED indicators and taillamps, a tougher tubular chassis, and a 14-litre boot space. The bike is affordably priced at just Rs. 1.35 Lakhs, and students can purchase it for a special price of Rs. 1 Lakh*.
Atumobile manufactures the Atum Vader at its Net Zero manufacturing facility in Patancheru, Telangana. The facility spans an area of 20,000 sq.ft. and is powered by ATUM, the world’s first electricity-generating solar roof. The company recently increased its production capacity from 25,000 units per annum to a maximum of 3,00,000 units to cater to the rising demand for its bikes. The Atum Vader is Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) certified, making it one of only two ARAI-approved electric bikes in the entire country.
Atumobile is on a mission to be self-reliant and is rapidly expanding its tech-manufacturing front. The company is developing its hub motors and battery technology in-house and aims to sell 12,000 bikes in the upcoming financial year. The company has also expanded its dealer network across the country, with over 30 dealers currently on board, and is one of the first automobile companies to offer online bike bookings and doorstep delivery to its customers.
Atumobile’s Founder, Mr. Vamsi G Krishna, expressed his gratitude to all Atum Vader patrons, saying,
“This is a proud day for all of us at Atumobile. We’ve worked tirelessly to engineer the ideal electric bike; an electric bike that catches the eye of the youth of our country and one that catalyses the reversal of climate change. We are seeing very strong demand in the electric bike space as the market is wide open. At a time when others are staying put in their work in the motorbike segment, Atumobile went above and beyond to become the only high-speed cafe racer electric bike in the market fit for Indian roads.”
