Harley Davidson Dark Custom models launched
Yesterday, Harley Davidson India has launched dark custom models of its 3 popular motorcycles – Iron 883, Forty-Eight and Street 750. The newly released Iron 883 and Forty-Eight models assert Harley-Davidson’s Dark Custom leadership with bikes inspired by the rebellious spirit of the past updated with modern design and new suspensions. For the very first time, the Softails of the bike have received the Twin Cam 103 engines which were available only in Harley Davidson touring motorcycles.
Pallavi Singh who is the Director Marketing at Harley-Davidson India said,
This is another historic year for Harley-Davidson. We’re raising the bar on Dark Custom motorcycles with the new Iron 883, Forty-Eight and Street 750, the purest expression of the design. And we’re extending our lead in touring with the return of the Road King and redesign of the popular Heritage Softail Classic.
Although the Harley Davidson Iron 883’s overall structure and design remains very identical to the old model, the custom dark treatment gives its a more modern touch which is inspired by “garage-built bobbers past and present”. Motorcycles also gets new front and adjustable rear suspension, lighter-weight mag wheels as well as improved seating. The 2016 Forty-Eight model too looks very aggressive with retro styling cues, new front tire as well as new mag wheels. The motorcycle also gets 49mm front forks, improved adjustable rear suspension and the seating.
When we talk about Harley-Davidson Street 750, the bike gets new front and rear braking systems. The Heritage Softail Classic would also get refreshed styling with Twin Cam 103 engine, improved saddlebag support structure and standard electronic cruise control.
