Honda Motorcycles reports a sales growth of 2%
Country’s leading two-wheeler maker Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has registered a 2% growth in overall sales during August 2015. A total of 395,262 units (Scooters + Motorcycles ) were sold during August 2015. To breakdown this number: 246,750 units were scooters, 126,452 units were motorcycles and 22,060 units were exported during the month of August in 2015. In the same month last year(2014), Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) reported a total sales of 388,016 units. The current increase in sales accounts for 2 percent growth.

- HMSI posted a new record by selling 22,062 units in August 2015.
- The Company successfully became the highest volume gainer in 2 wheeler industry by adding incremental 79,484 units in April – August 2015.
- Honda launches flagship fun motorcycle CBR 650F – Honda’s “Make in India” premium sports tourer @ 7.3 Lakhs ( Ex-showroom Delhi) to be retailed from 14 exclusive “Wing World” dealerships across India.
- The company also showcased brand new 160cc motorcycle CB Hornet 160R, new Honda CBR 250R, new Honda CBR 150R.
