Hyundai Creta Official Website launched
Car giant Hyundai India has launched a dedicated website (hyundaicreta.com) for its upcoming compact SUV Creta as a pre-launch activity to gain more traction towards its car. Its is reported that Hyundai Creta is going to hit the Indian roads on 21st July.
Earlier in this month, the South-Korean auto-maker released the official sketch renderings of Hyundai Creta, which is actually based on ix25 compact SUV.

Hyundai describes the new Creta as a global SUV. Just like the Hyundai i20 Active, the car would have its world premiere in India. Hyundai India has been successfully achieved the feet of getting 90% of localisation in India. As Hyundai Creta SUV is produced out of Chennai plant, it results in aggressive pricing of the car. When it comes to the exterior styling of new Creta, it shall have Hyundai’s latest Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 language and a “bold front, voluminous side and sporty rear”.
The interior cabin of Creta is identical to that of Elite i20 hatchback. Talking about the dimensions of the car, it measures 4270mm in length, 1780mm in width, 1630mm in height with a wheelbase of 2590mm. The ground clearance of Hyundai Creta SUV would be 190mm, which makes it compatible for rough and muddy terrains.
Under the hood, Hyundai Creta is offered in both petrol and diesel fuel trims. The petrol variants of Creta will be powered by the 1.6 litre, 4-cylinder VTVT engine, while the diesel variants would in-house a 1.6 litre, 4-cylinder CRDi engine.
Some sources have confirmed that an automatic variant of compact SUV is going to be launched at the time of its launch making it the only vehicle in the segment to offer auto gearbox. Nissan Terrano, Maruti S-Cross and Renault Duster is going to have a tough time with the launch of Hyundai Creta.
