Hyundai Creta Petrol Automatic Bookings open; Priced at INR 13.48 Lakhs (Ex-showroom Mumbai)
Few weeks back we had reported that Creta will be getting automatic petrol variant. Hyundai dealers across the country have now opened bookings for Creta SX+ petrol automatic and Creta S+ diesel automatic. One could book the new variants of Creta by paying up 25,000 INR. The deliveries of new variants of Creta will be during the festive season.

The automatic variant is currently available only in diesel SX+ trim. To woo more customers who likes to have automatic gearbox, Hyundai is now bringing the six-speed gearbox to even the lower-spec diesel Creta and a petrol-engined model as well. Just similar to Creta Automatic diesel variant. the petrol automatic Creta would be getting six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox which is paired to a 1.6-litre petrol engine. Features offered in petrol automatic Creta will be exactly same as that of top specifications automatic diesel variant as it is based on SX+ trim.
The South Korean auto giant, is also working on bringing in a 4-speed automatic gearbox to its i20 range. With this, Hyundai can easily take on the competition from Jazz and Baleno – the cars that offer the option of an automatic CVT gearbox.

Hyundai Creta has become hot favourite for Indian customers with the SUV having crossed a mammoth 1 lakh bookings within a year of its launch. Hyundai also stepped up the production capacity of the SUV from 10,000 units a month to 13,000, with 10,000 units dedicated for the Indian market to help lower waiting periods that had gone up to 10 months in the initial months.
