The all new Tucson from Hyundai is powered by both petrol and diesel version: 2.0 litre petrol and 2.0 litre diesel engine. Hyundai Tucson’s 2.0 litre petrol engine churns out a maximum power of 155 PS @ 6,200 rpm and gets a torque of 192 Nm @ 4,000 rpm. Hyundai Tucson’s 2.0 litre diesel engine produces 185 ps of power @ 4,000 rpm and 400 Nm @ 1,750 – 2,750 rpm. You have an option to choose between 6-speed manual transmission or 6-speed automatic transmission gearbox.
Talking about the mileage, the 3rd generation Hyundai Tucson petrol Manual transmission delivers a claimed mileage of 13.03 kmpl where as the Tucson’s Automatic variant delivers 12.95 kmpl. The manual transmission version of diesel Tucson gets a fuel economy of 18.42 kmpl and diesel automatic gets 16.38 kmpl.
