Hyundai Xcent Prime – All you need to Know
Reports from automotive portals like Motoroctane reveals that Hyundai will be launching the facelift version of Xcent. The XCent Prime is going to be the facelift version of Hyundai XCent. Hyundai XCent was first launched in early 2014 and till date the car has not received any updates.
Based on the Grand i10 platform, this will be launched sometime in the first half of year 2017. Hyundai is also working on enhancing their existing product line this year (2017).
Hyundai Xcent Prime Price Details
When it comes to the pricing, there is going to be no significant changes. The all new Hyundai XCent Prime would be getting some additional features that are mainly found in very recently introduced XCent limited edition. The price of the new Hyundai XCent is priced between INR 6.05 lakhs to INR 9.01 lakhs (on-road price).
Hyundai Xcent Prime Launch
The new Hyundai XCent Prime will be launched in the first half of 2017. Hyundai will be first launching the Grand i10 Prime which will be followed by Hyundai XCent Prime. There are also chances that all cars – i10 Prime, Xcent Prime will be launched together at once.
Hyundai Xcent Prime Engine and Mileage
The 1.2-litre petrol engine of Hyundai Xcent Prime is capable of churning out 81bhp of power and 112Nm of peak torque. Hyundai Xcent Prime is offered in 5-speed manual as well as 4-speed automatic transmission gearbox.
The all new Hyundai Xcent Prime will be getting a 1.2-litre diesel or it might even retain the earlier 1.1-litre diesel engine of Xcent.
When it comes to mileage, the petrol version of all new Xcent Prime gets a mileage of 12 kmpl in city conditions and about 16 kmpl in the highway conditions. The diesel engine variant of Hyundai Xcent Prime will be more efficient and has a fuel efficiency of 15 kmpl in the city and 19 kmpl on highways.

Talking about the exteriors of new Xcent Prime, the car would be getting daytime running LEDs and projector headlamps. Hyundai Xcent Prime will be also featuring new front grille that comes with honeycomb mesh as well as thin chrome strip. The side profile of Xcent Prime would not get any changes. There will be only little changes in the rear side of Xcent Prime like redesigned bumper and tweaked tail lamp styling.
The Hyundai XCent Prime shall continue to be a sub 4-metre sedan and has 400+ litres of boot space.
