Lamborghini Huracan Spyder launch in India on May 5
Everything is coming to India, even the newest Lamborghini model. The all new Lamborghini Huracan Spyder LP 610-4 will be launching in on India 5th of May. The new Huracan Spyder LP model from Lamborghini is a topless supercar. This is going to be the third Huracan variant which is going to be launched in India, the first two Hurican’s models being the regular LP 610-4 and rear-wheel-drive LP 580-2.
Lamborghini Huracan Spyder LP was first displayed at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year (2015), the new Huracan Spyder LP 610-4 employs a soft fabric top which can be deployed and retracted in 17 seconds within 50 kmph limit. With the soft-top on, the Huracan Spyder’s silhouette is different from that of the Coupe in the way the roof blends into rear bodywork of the car. The other design styling remains the same.
The Lamborghini Spyder continues to employ the Coupe’s 5.2-litre V10 engine that churns out a whooping 610 PS power at 8,250 rpm and also a torque of 560 Nm at 6,500 rpm. This new car comes with dual-clutch automatic gearbox and an all-wheel drive system.
This open-top Lamborghini model has a dry weight of just 1,542 kg. The car can attain a maximum speed of 0-100 kmph comes in 3.4 seconds (0.2 seconds slower than the Coupe) and 200 kmph in 10.2 seconds. The top speed of this sports supercar is 324 kmph.
