Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M), the Indian Automobile manufacturer is expected to launch the facelift of XUV500 on 25th May of this year. The facelift version of Mahindra XUV500 is going to have small cosmetic changes in the front of the vehicle.
The leaked images of XUV500 is going to sport Scorpio-like grille and also the new car gets a chrome lining, new headlamps with daytime-running lights. The bumper of the XUV500 facelift has also been tweaked, same with the fog lamp housings. There will be some other changes in the outer looks of the car like having new alloys and enclosure of a larger rear registration plate.
The front of the new face-lifted XUV500 would boast a brand new headlamp cluster along with S-shaped LED day time running lamps (similar to that of Mahindra Scorpio), that adds a bit of fierceness to the vehicle. The L-shaped chrome-finished fog lamp enclosures makes a real distinction from its predecessors.
Talking about the interiors of the XUV500 facelift, it remains the same as that of the current model. Mahindra would like add new colours to the palette in order to provide a better make, look and feel that makes it look more top-notch.
The specifications of XUV500 are expected to be unchanged, the Mahindra XUV500 would likely going to retain Mahindra’s 2.2 litre, 138bhp, 4-cylinder diesel engine which is coupled with 6-speed manual gearbox; All wheel drive option is also going to be provided.
