Maruti’s dream for producing a hot seller in the premium segment which was not achieved even after production of SX4,Baleno,kizashi,vitara has come true by fabrication of ciaz. Yes Maruti tastes its victory as honey bunch by seeing its October months sales.
Having 17000 bookings done maruti have sold 6345 cars in the October month while the segment leader Honda city has sold only 5120 cars. There is a hike in the sales because ciaz is a nascent new comer to this segment and has been introduced just before a month. But we can expect a good fortune in Honda’s market too as second shift of productions have been fired up in dharuhera plant. Customers feel that city is a good car but still ciaz is a better package to go with.
