New Bajaj Avenger TV commercial released
Last month, Bajaj Auto, country’s leading bike manufacturer released two 220cc Avenger bikes ( Street 220 and one Cruise 220) and an 150cc Avenger Street. Bajaj has done a right move in expanding their Avenger portfolio. Making the Avenger available in 150cc has opened up a whole new segment. Bajaj has now released a new TV commercial that features the newly introduced Avenger bikes in India.

Bajaj has done many changes to its new Avenger range when compared to its old Avenger bikes. Some of the changes which are done to the bike include a flatter handlebar, low set seat, matte black exterior colour scheme, enhanced headlight illumination as well as the new grab rail and fork gaiters.
The all new Bajaj Avenger Street would get a low slung seat featuring snugger thick density foam, a well improved exhaust note, clear lens indicators, redesigned alloy wheels and a new exhaust muffler.
For the 220cc Avenger bikes, there are no mechanical changes. The bike’s power is derived from the same 220cc, single cylinder oil-cooled engine that comes with DTS-i technology. Power generated by Avenger’s 220cc engine is 19 PS at 5400 RPM along with 17.5 Nm of torque at 7000 RPM.
The Bajaj Avenger Street also gets the lower capacity 150cc engine featuring a single cylinder and outputting 14.5 PS of top power at 9000 RPM along with 12.5 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM. Five-speed conventional transmission is mated to both the engines. Telescopic forks are fitted in front and the rear comes a with dual shock set-up. Braking duties are performed by disc brakes in front and rear as well.
The bike is targeted at the younger customers who are wanting a light-weight cruiser, Bajaj Avenger featuring plethora of updates is a viable option in its segment. Bajaj Auto is eyeing a monthly sales of 8000 to 9000 units which is approximately double the current sales. The new TVC from Bajaj highlights the changes done in the new Avenger series.
