Nissan appoints Sanjay Gupta as Vice President of Marketing
Nissan today announced the appointment of Sanjay Gupta as Vice President – Marketing, Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd., effective December 21, 2015. Gupta will report to Arun Malhotra, managing director.
In this role, Gupta will be responsible for developing creative marketing strategies across product range and defining pricing, positioning, promotion and implementation of these strategies to deliver results.

With over two decades of experience in the automotive and engineering industries in India, Gupta has worked with organizations like Hyundai Motor India Pvt Ltd, Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd, and Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. Till recently, he was the Senior Vice President of Marketing at M3M India Limited. He has successful track record of establishing brands and making them distinctive and remarkable amidst a highly competitive market.
Nissan has tied up with ICC for 8 years to project “Nissan” brand for Indian car buyers in a more natural way by involving the brand name with India’s popular sport like cricket.
