Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) has expanded its presence in Maharashtra with the inauguration of a new dealership and state-of-the-art service workshop in Nashik. This development is part of Nissan’s strategic plans to grow its footprint in all high growth regions across India, providing customers with better access to sales and service facilities. The new Highgear Nissan Showroom & Service Workshop was inaugurated by Mr. Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India who highlighted Nissan’s focus on strengthening its presence in high growth markets like Maharashtra to better serve the evolving needs of its customers.
The Highgear Nissan Showroom has a total area of 4500 sq. ft, while the state-of-the-art Highgear Nissan Service Workshop at the Nashik facility is spread across a total area of over 7500 sq. ft. The new showroom and service workshop are equipped with high-quality amenities and are staffed by knowledgeable, well-trained, and passionate sales and service professionals, to provide exceptional value to customers. The launch in Nashik aligns with Nissan’s broader strategy to strengthen its network across India in high growth markets. With this latest addition, Nissan now operates a total of 18 customer touchpoints across Maharashtra, including 8 showrooms and 10 service workshops, ensuring that customers in the region have better access to Nissan’s full range of products and services.
Speaking at the inauguration, Mr. Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India said,

This expansion reflects our ongoing efforts to provide best-in-class products, and services in the city.”

, “SUVs such as the New Nissan Magnite, equipped with 20+ First & Best-In-Segment features, scheduled to be exported to 65+ countries, and the 4th Generation Nissan X-TRAIL with the world’s first Variable Compression Engine, are prime examples of our commitment to India, as we aim to expand our dealer network to over 300 touchpoints by FY2025. We remain on track for our business plan announced earlier this year at the launches of the Nissan X-TRAIL and New Nissan Magnite.”
In line with its growth plans for India, Nissan Motor India (NMIPL) recently announced the launch of its first state-of-the-art National Training Centre – Nissan Academy, located at the Alliance JV plant in Chennai. The academy will enhance the skills and capabilities of Nissan’s dealership and service staff network across India, reinforcing Nissan’s commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

It comes equipped with 20+ First & Best-In-Segment features and 55+ total safety features.The New Magnite SUV is also a testament to Nissan’s ‘Make-in-India, Make for the World’ vision as it is one of the only SUVs for the company to be now exported to 65+ international countries which includes left-hand-drive markets.
