Backed by over 40 years of racing pedigree, TVS Racing factory team, racing since 1982, showcased their exceptional skills and unwavering dedication as they concluded the opening round of the 2023 Indian National Rally Championship (INRC) held in Coorg. The PETRONAS TVS Racing team’s remarkable performance resulted in clean sweeps across all three categories that the team participated in, firmly establishing their dominance in the competition. Rajendra RE, the defending champion of the Group A Foreign Open Class 450 continued his winning streak from last season.
Boasting a distinguished racing heritage, PETRONAS TVS Racing has played a pivotal role in the development of the TVS Apache series, leveraging its “Track to Road” philosophy. The brand has made significant strides in the market, achieving 5 million global sales and earning a reputation as the fastest-growing performance motorcycle brand in its segment. The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V based TR 200R ridden by Imran Pasha won the Group B Expert class 260cc. The TR 200R is modified with rally suspension, rally geometry and rally tuned engine for superior performance.
Additionally, the PETRONAS TVS Racing Team was awarded with the ‘Best Team in the motorcycles and scooter class, along with Rajendra RE from the team being honoured with the ‘Best Rider of the day’ badge.
