The new Range Rover Sport SV Carbon introduces a blend of dynamic capability and sophisticated modern luxury to Range Rover’s performance flagship. Completing the new line-up, offered alongside the Range Rover Sport SV and SV Black, the Range Rover Sport SV Carbon is positioned as the ultimate expression of lightweight performance, featuring carbon finishes and exclusive colours. The new model will make its world premiere on August 13 at Range Rover House during Monterey Car Week.

Range Rover Sport SV Carbon Unveiled

Ryan Miller, Product and Services Marketing Director, Range Rover, commented on the launch. He said,

“Following the introduction of the previously limited Range Rover Sport SV Edition ONE and Edition TWO, clients now have more choice when it comes to specifying their ultimate luxury performance SUV.” He also stated, “Last month we announced the Range Rover Sport SV Black, offering a stealthy, dipped-in-black aesthetic, while the new Range Rover Sport SV Carbon is an assertive interpretation of our luxury performance SUV. Offered alongside Range Rover Sport SV and SV Black, it completes the new line-up showcasing the best of Range Rover’s sophisticated carbon fibre materials, for the ultimate expression of lightweight performance.”

Lightweight Performance with Carbon Detailing

The Range Rover Sport SV Carbon features exquisite ultra-lightweight detailing. It comes with a standard Forged Carbon exterior pack, which includes stealthy carbon fibre detailing, such as around the Active Quad Exhausts. A Twill Carbon finish and an exposed carbon fibre bonnet are also available as optional features.

Further enhancing its lightweight focus, the SV Carbon offers optional ultra-lightweight 23-inch Carbon Fibre Wheels. These wheels contribute to a significant 76kg total weight saving, which improves handling, acceleration, and ride quality. For ultimate braking performance, optional Carbon Ceramic Brakes with exclusive eight-piston SV calipers are available. These calipers can be chosen in blue, yellow, carbon bronze, or black options.

Dynamic Power and Advanced Technology

The Range Rover Sport SV Carbon is powered by a potent 4.4-litre Twin Turbo V8 mild hybrid petrol engine. This engine produces 635PS and 750Nm of torque, capable of propelling the SUV to a top speed of 180mph. When using Dynamic Launch Mode, the combined engine and MHEV output can reach 800Nm. A carbon fibre SV engine cover is fitted under the bonnet. The vehicle is also equipped with performance-enhancing technologies like 6D Dynamics Suspension, which features hydraulic interlinked air suspension with pitch and roll control for maximum composure when cornering, accelerating, and braking.

Inside, the Body and Soul™ Seat (BASS) technology creates a multidimensional audio experience that allows front seat occupants to feel the sound. This sensory audio system provides both wellness benefits and an immersive listening experience.

Curated Design and Luxurious Interior

The interior of the SV Carbon features a cockpit-like cabin. It includes Forged Carbon Fibre-backed performance seats with integrated headrests, sculpted bolsters, and illuminated SV logos. Forged Carbon detailing extends to the seatbacks and dashboard. A choice of four interior themes is available, including perforated Windsor Leather in Ebony, Rosewood/Ebony, or Light Cloud/Ebony. A leather-free option with Cinder Grey/Ebony seats, formed from innovative Ultrafabrics™ material, is also available. Extended Moonlight Chrome detailing and SV illuminated treadplates further set the interior apart.
