Rolls-Royce, English car manufacturing company has made an announcement that the company is going to open a new engineering facility in Bangalore before year 2017. Rollys-Royce is looking to employ 500 people in the Bangalore facility. The facility will enhance the Rolls-Royce’s capabilities in engineering field and to innovate in the field of technology and tools development. The new engineering facility by Rolls-Royce would be also used for aerospace engineering related work including testing automobiles.

Speaking to media, Mr. Kishore Jayaraman, President – India & South Asia, Rolls-Royce said,
“Our plan to expand our capabilities here is testament to India’s talented engineering workforce and strongly supports our growth strategy in India. The Government here is fully committed to the development of the aerospace industry, by providing the right infrastructure, talent and a conducive business environment for the industry to thrive.”
