Audi RS6 Avant launched in India
German Luxury automobile manufacturer Audi has launched new RS6 Avant in India at a whooping price tag of Rs 1.35 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi) today. New RS6 Avant is an avatar of Audi’s A6 Avant estate with high-performance.
The German carmaker is planning to bring 10 new models to India by this year. Earlier, the company had launched Audi TT facelift and RS7 in India.
Just launched Audi RS6 Avant is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 engine which is turbocharged that yields a maximum power output of 552bhp and a maximum torque of 71.4kgm. The drive train of RS6 Avant is AWD, which means the generated power is sent to all wheels through 8-speed automatic gearbox. The car features AWD feature called Audi Quattro. Audi says that Audi RS6 Avant could reach upto a speed of 100kmph in 3.9 seconds and can reach a top speed of 304 kmph.
At the outset, new RS6 Avant from Audi is a sharp-looking performance estate that has a sculpted grille bearing written with ‘Quattro’ along with bumpers, sporty air intakes and sideskirts. RS6 Avant features LED headlamps that cuts straight through the center.
The RS6 Avant has an adaptive air suspension that lowers the body by 20mm. Audi is offering the RS sport suspension with Dynamic Ride Control (DRC) as an option. Moreover, the RS6 Avant gets 20-inch wheels as standard; 21‑inch wheels will be offered as an option.
Audi, country’s premium car manufacturer is shelling out its efforts to be the leader in the Indian market. Audi India posted a record sales of 11,292 units which is a 11.51% increase from the previous year beating its rivals like Mercedes and BMW.
