Suzuki Sales Report July 2015
Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary company of Suzuki Motor Corporation, the world’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer has registered a sales growth of 33% in the month of July in 2015 as compared to July 2014 sales. Suzuki Motorcycle has sold 36,081 units in July 2015 while the 2-wheeler maker had sold 27,118 units in July 2014, registering a good growth in its overall sales.
With this, Suzuki has maintained a very consistent growth path over the last couple of years.
Mr. Atul Gupta who is the Executive Vice President of SMIPL said in a press release statement,
Suzuki sales continue to show double digit growth despite a slight downturn in the automobile market. This is a very heartening sign and several factors are responsible for it. The 150 cc segment of motorcycles shows signs of growth and Suzuki Gixxer and Gixxer SF, premium 155cc motorcycles, are both doing well. Also, Suzuki Access and Swish scooters continue to remain very popular choices in a segment which is seeing good growth. We expect an even larger percentage increase in sales around the festive period, and have a positive outlook for the coming quarter.
