TVS Motor Company sells 239,957 units in June 2016
TVS Motor Company clocked a sales growth of 11% during the month of June 2016, with total sales increasing from 222,017 units recorded in the month of June 2015 to 247,085 units in the month of June 2016.

Two Wheeler
Total two wheeler sales increased by 13.8% from 210,920 units recorded in June 2015 to 239,957 units in June 2016. Domestic two wheeler sales grew by 16.4% increasing from 177,687 units in June 2015 to 206,784 units in June 2016.
Scooters sales of the company grew by 10.3 % increasing from 61,215 units in June 2015 to 67,539 units in June 2016. Motorcycles sales grew by 7.6% increasing from 88,690 units in the month of June 2015 to 95,465 units in June 2016.
Three Wheeler
Three wheeler of the company registered sales of 7,128 units in June 2016 as against 11,097 units in June 2015.
Exports
The company’s total exports registered sales of 39,112 units in the month of June 2016 as against 43,025 units in June 2015. Two wheeler exports registered sales of 33,173 units in June 2016 as against 33,233 units in June 2015.
First Quarter Sales Performance
During the first quarter of the current financial year, sales of TVS Motor Company grew by 12.5% increasing from 6.38 lakh units recorded in the first quarter ended June 2015 to 7.18 lakh units in the quarter ended June 2016. Total two wheeler sales grew by 15.3% increasing from 6.08 lakh units in the first quarter of the previous year to 7.01 lakh units in the first quarter of the current year. Total three wheeler sales registered sales of 0.17 lakh units in the first quarter of the current year as against 0.30 lakh units in the first quarter of the previous year.
