Volkswagen Polo ALLSTAR Edition – All you need to Know
Automotive manufacturers in India have kept us busy this festive season. We have seen a number of launches during the festive season in India this year. Volkswagen India has recently launched the diesel version of their newest compact sedan, Volkswagen Ameo. And, now the German automaker has revealed the Volkswagen Polo ALL STAR on their official website.
Volkswagen Polo ALLSTAR is designed to promote the 2016 UEFA championship football tournament. The ALL STAR Polo comes with a few cosmetic upgrades which make it look sportier than the regular Polo. The ALLSTAR Polo will be available in Blue Silk color as seen on the Volkswagen Ameo.
Volkswagen Polo ALLSTAR gets ALLSTAR badges on B-pillars, ALLSTAR badged still plates, aluminium pedals, new diamond cut alloy wheels, new seat upholstery with contrasting stripes and Vento inspired rear air con vents. The package also includes tweaked headlamps and new fog lights.
Euro spec model of the ALLSTAR Polo gets a 1.0 litre TSI petrol engine capable of putting out an impressive 108 bhp of power. Paired to a 6 speed manual transmission, this special edition car can give an outstanding fuel economy of 23.26 kmpl. Although, the Indian models will get the 1.2 litre petrol and the 1.5 lire diesel engines capable of giving out 88.7 and 103 bhp respectively. The price is expected to be between 7.50 lakh to 8.50 lakh rupees.
