In a quest to reinstate Bengaluru, the Garden city of India, YULU rolled out its operations from Hoodi Halt railway station. The battery-operated YULU Miracles can now be rented for eco-friendly rides within city limits.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at Hoodi Halt station in the presence of Shri P. Chikkamuni Mohan, Member of Parliament, Bengaluru Central, who was the guest of honor for the event. Shri M Goutham Kumar, BBMP Mayor, and Shri Aravind Limbavali, Mahadevapura MLA, also graced the event.
Last month, YULU announced its partnership with South Western Railways to promote the adoption of electric vehicles and help citizens move within the city in an eco-friendly and affordable way. 130 battery-operated two-wheelers at exclusive parking zones provided by the South Western Railways will be available across seven stations, including Bengaluru Cantonment, Bangalore East, Whitefield, Hoodi Halt, Bellandur Road, K R Puram, and Baiyapnahhli. South Western Railways is happy to partner with vibrant start-ups like Yulu that is driving the country toward sustainable mobility.
The start-up exuberates a clear passion to solve the critical problem of traffic congestion in metro cities and curb carbon emissions.
