Maruti is all set to launch a all new model of their best seller the WagonR . For 2018 Maruti Suzuki WagonR will be available in two trims, one as a five seater and the other as a seven seater . The seven seater variant is expected to be based on globally sold Suzuki Solio . The new WagonR will be based on Maruti’s new Heartect Platform, the same platform which also forms the basis of new Swift, Dzire, Ertiga . With a lighter and stronger platform the car will be more fuel efficient as well as safer than before.
2018 Maruti WagonR will continue carry out its tall boy design. For 2018 it does come with larger windows and vertically stacked tail lamps. It features a new two piece grille, square shaped headlamps, a large airdam and prominent bumper design. The sides sport a prominent line running across.
Interiors also get update along with better safety features so as to comply with upcoming NCAP crash test norms.There is good amount head and knee room both front and rear seats and boot space will be larger for the new gen Wagon R

2018 model will get a BSVI compliant engine. currently, the Maruti Suzuki WagonR is powered by a 1.0 liter K-Series, 3 cylinder petrol engine puts out 67 bhp power and 90 Nm of peak torque .Powertrain is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission and AMT unit will also be in offer . This same unit will be retuned for powering the upcoming model which will enhance performance and mileage.
