Isuzu MU-X facelift has been spotted testing in India. The Tokyo-headquartered company is planning to launch a mid-life facelift of the MU-X with a number of cosmetic updates in India. While globally the Isuzu MU-X facelift is already on sale in Thailand. The facelifted MU-X will be launched here in early 2019 since its just been a year from the launch of the pre-facelift model in India.
For 2019 model, the SUV will bring in a new grille, Bi-LED headlamps, new design for the alloy wheels and a new design for the tail lamps. There is nothing much changed inside with a similar features list in the cabin but a larger and updated touchscreen system in on offer for 2019
The MU-X will be powered by the same the 3.0-litre 4-cylinder diesel that produces 174 bhp and 380 Nm of peak torque mated to a six-speed manual. However, an automatic and an optional AWD will be offered as an option for India.
There will be no price change to the MU-X when launched and will rival against the likes of the Toyota Fortuner and the Ford Endeavour in the D+ segment SUV category.
