Volkswagen India has unveiled its brand new mid-size sedan – the Virtus in India. The new Volkswagen Vitus is launched in 2 engine options and 1.5 Litre TSI EVO engine with ACT and also gets 1.0 L TSI Engine. There are 3 different transmissions that are on offer – 7-speed Direct Shift Gearbox(DSG), 6-speed automatic torque controller (AT) and 6-speed manual transmission. The virtus is equipped with 40+ safety features (active and passive) including Hill-hold control, Electronic stability control, side impact protection bean on doors, Tire Pressure deflation warning, multi-collision brakes etc.
The new Volkswagen Virtus is high on tech – the car features 20.2 cm Digital cockpit, 25.62 cm touchscreen infotainment system, wireless app connect etc. Electric sunroof, cooled gloves, rain sensors, smart storage space, smart-touch ‘Climatronic AC’.
