Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL), the two-wheeler subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, announces the launch of the 2024 Suzuki Avenis, a vibrant and edgy street sport scooter designed to captivate the GenZ rider.
The 2024 Suzuki Avenis is available in four eye-catching colour combinations – Glossy Sparkle Black / Pearl Mira Red, Champion Yellow No 2 / Glossy Sparkle Black, Glossy Sparkle Black & Glossy Sparkle Black / Pearl Glacier White. Each colour option is complemented by all new bold & futuristic edgy graphics and motorcycle inspired highlights, ensuring that riders make a statement wherever they go. The bold Suzuki lettering on the sides further enhances the scooter’s street looks.

The scooter is powered by an all-aluminum 4-stroke, single-cylinder 124.3cc BS6 engine that delivers 8.7 PS at 6750 rpm and 10 Nm at 5500 rpm. The Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) and advanced fuel injection technology in the engine ensures top-class power, performance, and low fuel consumption, making it an ideal choice for riders looking for both efficiency and excitement.
Making the new Suzuki Avenis to stand apart is its Bluetooth-enabled multi-function digital instrument console, with Suzuki Ride Connect App, which supports both iOS and Android platforms. This console offers turn-by-turn navigation, estimated time of arrival updates, useful custom point of interest information (like parking lots, fuel pumps, convenience store etc), and alerts for calls, SMS, & WhatsApp alerts and more, ensuring riders stay connected on the go.
In addition to its technological advancements, the Avenis is packed with features designed for convenience and safety. The body-mounted bright LED headlamp setup with five LEDs consumes less power and enhances visibility. The sporty LED tail lamp divided into two separate lamps along with motorcycle inspired rear turn indicators gives a sporty appearance to the scooter. The integrated engine start and kill switch, coupled with the Suzuki Easy Start System, ensures a seamless start every time. The side stand interlock adds an extra layer of safety by cutting off the engine when the side stand is engaged. Furthermore, the combined brake system and telescopic suspension set-up for the front fork ensures better performance and superior riding performance.
The ergonomic design includes a comfortable and sporty step seat with dual-color stitching, sporty split grab rails, a long & wide floorboard with a textured design for better grip, and a cut away design in the back of floorboard for easier ground contact.
The scooter also boasts practical solutions, including a front box with a USB socket, a front rack for storing small items, a one-push central locking system with a unique safety shutter, an external hinge-type fuel cap, dual convenient utility hooks and a large under-seat storage space of 21.8 Liters.
Additionally, the Suzuki Avenis features a large 12-inch front tyre with a sporty alloy wheel design. The inner rear fender adds to scooter’s sportier look while providing protection against road debris and water splashes. A sporty meter visor & muffler cover and prominent Avenis badge further accentuate its unique sporty design.
