The new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé officially launched in India today. BMW Group Plant Chennai locally produces the second-generation BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé. This new model will be available exclusively with a petrol powertrain in the country. Customers can book the car at all BMW India dealerships, and deliveries commence from today onwards.
The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé has already carved out its own niche with its extroverted design and sporty driving character. It has quickly become a favorite among younger urban customers who seek style with substance and a Gran Coupé silhouette in the premium compact segment.

Audacious Design & Elevated Exterior
The new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé clearly conveys more sporty elegance, characteristic of a BMW Gran Coupé. An expressive front section, a dynamic silhouette, and a powerfully designed rear define its exterior design. The second-generation model has increased in length by 20mm to 4546mm, with a width of 1800mm and a height increased by 25mm to 1445mm. Its wheelbase measures 2670mm.
The signature BMW Iconic Glow Kidney grille, now introduced on the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé, is always eye-catching, especially after dark. The headlights protrude significantly into the side sections. Segment-best Adaptive LED headlights feature glare-free matrix high beam, blue accents, and a cornering light function. A wide BMW radiator grille, positioned below the headlights, and a large, black lower air inlet give the front section a shark-like appearance. Vertical side openings further highlight this sporty look.
The standard M Sport package vigorously conveys the dynamic charisma of the new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé. Its exterior features include a front apron with particularly large air intakes, M specific side sills, the M High-gloss Shadow Line, and a powerfully modeled rear apron with a black diffuser insert. Additionally, 18-inch M light alloy wheels with a Y-spoke design and tubeless tires come standard with the M Sport package, adding visual depth and enhancing the car’s dynamic silhouette.
