The new generation of the Honda Jazz was launched in India back in 2014. For 2018,  Honda Cars India is soon going to launch the mid-life facelift of the Jazz premium hatchback in India. Honda, on an average, updates its cars every three years with a generation-change on every alternate update.

2018 Honda Jazz Facelift

Sources suggest that Honda will debut this vehicle in our country within this month or by early August. For 2018 the update will be more on feature additions rather than styling tweaks. The updated version of the Jazz is already on sale in several international markets which comes with a reworked front end, reformed bumpers and some added chrome. The front grille will resemble the newer Hondas and has become a little larger.

Talking about the feature additions, Honda might offer the new infotainment system that comes with the Honda City along with a refreshed dashboard and cabin.  The mid-life update will not include any mechanical tweaks Under the hood, the 1.2-litre petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel engines will continue to power the Honda Jazz. It will be exciting if Honda brings its new 1.5-Litre Petrol engine for India spec, this engine puts out whooping 130 HP with two transmission options- Six-speed Manual and CVT.  If Honda Cars India launches this here in India, it will rival the likes of Maruti Baleno RS, Volkswagen Polo GT TSI, and Fiat Abarth Punto in the Hot hatch segment.
