New TVS Victor 110 launched in India at INR 49,188
Popular two wheeler manufacturer, TVS Motor Company has launched a brand new TVS Victor motorcycle in Pune at a price tag of INR 49,188 (ex-showroom, Maharashtra). Victor is a 110cc commuter bike that comes equipped with drum brakes. There is also disc brake variant of Victor which is priced at INR 51,188 (ex-showroom, Maharashtra).
TVS Victor is a pretty old brand from TVS Motors which dates back to year 2002. There is lot of difference between the older version of TVS Victor when compared to the current Victor model. What’s new in 2016 TVS Victor bike? The latest Victor motorcycle gets technologies like patented 3-valve Ecothrust engine technology, petal disc brake, tubeless tyres, as well as gets some styling tweaks.
TVS Victor’s 110cc engine delivers a maximum power output of 9.46bhp and 0.96kgm of torque. The company claims a mileage of 76kmpl.
Elaborating on TVS Motors’ future plans, Mr Arun Siddharth who is currently the head of marketing said:
On the quality front, we have been recognised by JD Power recently. With a known name (Victor) in the family motorcycle segment, we are expecting to garner a bigger market share in the coming months. With Victor positioned in the family segment and TVS Star and Sport positioned in the executive and budget categories respectively, we believe that now our portfolio of commuter motorcycles is complete. We hope that the three different models deliver expected results to us.
TVS Victor takes on its competitor bikes like the Honda’s Dream range (Yuga, Dream, CD100), the Honda Livo, Mahindra Centuro, and the Suzuki Hayate.
