Ford Mustang GT is now India’s Best Selling Sports Car
The Mustang Sports car from Ford was first showcased at Delhi 2016 Auto Expo. Earlier this year, the all new Ford Mustang grabbed best-selling sports car title in the world. Ford Mustang GT just got launched in India in July month and in just a months time, the car has become country’s best selling sports car.
The Mustang generated lot of interest even before its official unveiling. The New Mustang GT has turned out to be a big hit and has succeeded in grabbing attention for sports car lovers in the country. In the very first month of launch – July 2016 itself Ford India managed to sell whooping 35 units!. The cars from other manufacturers (sports cars) in the country approximately sell around 10 units a year. New Ford Mustang GT’s eye catching pricing (INR 65 lakhs) has made the car stand out of the car in India.

Under the hood, Ford Mustang is powered by a 5.0 liter V8 engine which is mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The car churns out a maximum power of 395 bhp and 515 Nm of torque. The Ford Mustang GT accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4 seconds and can attain maximum speed of 250 Kmph.
