Pioneering in pre-owned two-wheeler business with ‘Best Deal’ outlets, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd today announced the extension of its partnership with Shriram Automall India Ltd, unit of Shriram Transport Finance Company to promote ‘reliable, professional and organised’ solution for transactions of pre-owned 2wheelers.
Initiated in 2015, the partnership has resulted in transparent dealing and proper documentation of the pre-owned 2wheelers further bridging the gap of unorganized structure in the pre-owned industry.
The partnership is further extended for next three years. The MoU was signed in the presence of Mr. Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd and Mr. Sameer Malhotra, CEO, Shriram Automall India Limited (SAMIL) along with the other dignitaries from Honda 2Wheelers India and SAMIL.

In this partnership, SAMIL will provide following services to Honda 2Wheelers India with respect to the pre-owned two wheeler business –
- Refurbishment of two wheelers on seller’s discretion.
- Assist & facilitate the Honda 2Wheelers network for selling the vehicle via, physical, online, one Stop Kiosks and negotiated sale platform.
- Parking & ware housing facilities for the two wheelers bought from previous owners.
Honda 2Wheelers India is the only two wheelers manufacturer of the country who pioneered in the concept of certified pre-owned outlets business with ‘Best Deal’. This is industry’s first organized retail set-up exclusively for pre-owned two-wheelers. Honda has recently achieved the milestone with 225th best deal outlet. Within 2.5 years, the company pre-owned business has doubled from 75 cities to 174 cities, covering 24 states across India.
