It’s obvious that Tata Motors would want to bring new iterations to their Tiago line of hot hatchbacks in the Indian market. With the XB iteration out of the picture, newer models are definitely close to launch as they gear up for a whole new revamp of the Tiago line up of Tata Motors.
The Tata Tiago XB line up has been scrapped and the Tiago XE has become the base variant of the hatchback starting at Rs 4.20 lakh rupees. Since the base variant is being scrapped, the XE line up brings about some drastic changes while ABS becomes standard along with EBD and cornering stability.

These features were only available on the XZ and the XZ+ models earlier. Also, the interiors are given a whole new boost as for 4.2 lakh rupees you get premium interiors along with airbags and load limiters. Fascinating to see these many features on the base variant of the car.
However, going above the line-up and you can see that the XZ and the XZ+ variants are also not shy of getting subtle enhancements that come as stock. You get wheels covers, AC, and various drive modes. Needless to say that there are collapsible handle grips and follow me headlamp as well on the higher end variants.
The adjustable seats and adjustable front headrests are no longer options in the lower variants but come stock in the higher end variants. But then this refurbish of variants was required as the last time they did this was back in December when the XZ+ was launched which gave a plethora of feature and helped Tata to stay in the hot hatchback competition of India.
Don’t worry if you are confused as to what you might want to buy as there is a table given below that would help you decide on which car would suit you the best.

Personally if you ever want to have any of the new trims of the 2019 Tata Tiago vehicles, then you can actually go for the XE variant. Being the cheapest of the iterations and offering ABS and alloy wheels as standard, it’s the best package that money can buy.
Other iterations of the Tata Tiago offers some splendid features, but most of them many people may or may not use. Hence the XE variant works out to be the best and also can give you more for what you are paying.
