The 2019 Royal Enfield Himalayan is powered by an all new 411cc counter-balanced, oil-cooled unit which is not only refined but also versatile enough for both highway cruising and off-road riding. The engine is mated to a five-speed transmission, which spreads out torque generously at lower revs. This is particularly ideal for conquering rough terrains.
Royal Enfield has updated the Himalayan with a dual-channel ABS system. It is now priced at Rs 1.78 lakh for the standard ABS variant and Rs 1.80 lakh for the Sleet ABS variant (all prices, ex-showroom Pune).
