Hyundai Motor India Ltd. opens bookings for all-new Hyundai VERNA with advanced features and powertrain options

Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL), the country’s largest car exporter and smart mobility solutions provider, has announced the commencement of bookings for the all-new Hyundai VERNA. The iconic sedan is available for booking at Hyundai dealerships across India or through the company’s website.

According to Mr. Tarun Garg, Chief Operating Officer of HMIL, the all-new Hyundai VERNA has a resilient legacy of 16 years with a strong cult following across diverse geographies of India. With the launch of the next generation of the sedan, the company is expecting to elevate customer aspirations and drive a strong resurgence in this segment.

Powertrain options

To offer an exciting driving experience, the all-new Hyundai VERNA comes with a range of four powertrains. The company has equipped the sedan with a new, sporty, and thrilling 1.5 Turbo GDi Petrol engine, available with 6-speed manual transmission (6MT) and 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (7DCT). The powertrains are designed to churn out maximum power and torque performance, setting a new benchmark in this segment.

Hyundai also offers the reliable 1.5 MPi Petrol engine, available with 6MT and Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT). All these powertrains are RDE-compliant eco-friendly engines that are also E20 fuel ready.

Variants and features

HMIL will offer the all-new Hyundai VERNA in four trim options – EX, S, SX, and SX(O). The sedan has been designed to deliver advanced safety, convenience, and comfort, ensuring that segment benchmarks are re-established.

The all-new Hyundai VERNA is available in seven monotone and two dual-tone exterior colour options, including the three new monotone colours – Abyss Black (New), Atlas White (New), and Tellurian Brown (New & Exclusive).
