India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. (IYM) has recently launched the 2023 lineup of its 125 CC scooter range, which includes Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid, Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid, and Ray ZR Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid. This new lineup boasts a blend of advanced features, remarkable design, and fuel-efficient technology, making it a favorite among riders. The 125 cc Hybrid scooter range is now powered by an E20 fuel-compliant engine that emits significantly lower emissions than its previous models. The new engine is also OBD2 compliant, which helps track data in real-time, making the user’s experience more convenient.
Yamaha’s Bluetooth-enabled Y-Connect App now comes factory-fitted, making it easier for riders to monitor their scooter’s performance, fuel consumption, maintenance requirements, and other crucial data. The 2023 range of Yamaha 125 Hybrid scooters is available in outstanding color schemes that enhance excitement and style among Indian consumers.
Powerful Engine and Performance
Yamaha’s 2023, 125 cc Hybrid scooter range is powered by a BS-VI OBD2 & E-20 fuel compliant, air-cooled, fuel-injected (FI), 125 cc blue core engine. The engine produces a power output of 8.2 PS @ 6,500 RPM and a torque of 10.3 N.M @ 5,000 RPM. This Hybrid engine includes a Smart Motor Generator (SMG) System that supplements the riding pleasure of a scooter. The Intelligent Power Assist feature, based on Yamaha’s true hybrid technology, provides an additional thrust utilizing the SMG system that doubles up as an electric motor.
The hybrid engine offers additional linear power when the rider accelerates from a stop, reducing the wobble during start-outs in tandem riding or uphill climbs, promoting more confident riding. The 125 Fi Hybrid engine continues to feature all class-leading features as standard, including the Automatic Stop & Start system that prevents engine idling and starts with a single throttle twist and the In-built Side stand engine cut-off switch for added safety.
Stylish Design and Color Schemes
In addition to the advanced features and efficient performance, the new 2023 range of Yamaha 125 Hybrid scooters is available in striking new colors that enhance excitement and style among Indian consumers. The disc variant of Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid & Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid model is now available in the all-new Dark Matt Blue color, while the Ray ZR Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid is available in two new attractive colors, Matte Black & Light Grey Vermillion. The disc and drum variant of Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid gets sporty and stylish graphics in its existing colors, Matt Red, Metallic Black, and Cyan Blue.
Target Customers
With the launch of the 2023 variants of the Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid, Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid & Ray ZR Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid, Yamaha aims to cater to a wide range of target customers. The Fascino 125 FI Hybrid is targeted towards customers who are fashion-forward and who find the true reflection of their riding personality by the mobility they ride and the performance it offers. At the same time, the Ray ZR accentuates the Real Boys’ Scooter concept by balancing the deeply sculpted masculine appeal with a sense of speed.
