Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) today announced its sales numbers for May 2023.
The company’s total sales for the month stood at 329,393. This includes domestic sales of 311,144 units and 18,249 units in exports.
Key Highlights of May 2023:
Ø Product: Creating a new paradigm in mass mobility, HMSI launched its most affordable and fuel-efficient mass motorcycle – Shine 100 in Rajasthan, Bihar & Uttar Pradesh at an exclusive price of Rs 62,900. The company also introduced new range of engine oil – “Pro Honda” for Honda two-wheelers in India.
Ø BigWing Network Expansion: HMSI further elevated the #GoRidin spirit with the inauguration of BigWing outlet in Panvel (Maharashtra).
Ø Road Safety: Expanding road safety awareness in India, HMSI organized awareness campaigns in Hyderabad (Telangana), Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Vidisha (Madhya Pradesh), Firozpur (Punjab) & New Delhi.
Ø CSR: Honda India Foundation (HIF) commenced its flagship program Project Pragati (One Step towards Growth) in Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) to support the community by facilitating training to the economically poor youth with the intention to train them for their livelihood and committing to develop a sustainable society.
Ø Motorsports: The IDEMITSU Honda Racing India team rider Kavin Quintal grabbed 2 points in the round 2 of 2023 FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC).
