Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) today announced its sales numbers for July’23. The total sales of HMSI for the month stood at 3,38,310 units. This includes domestic sales of 3,10,867 units and exports of 27,443 units.
Key Highlights of July 2023:
- Product: HMSI launched the all-new sporty, advanced, and convenient Dio 125 in India.
- Network Expansion
BigWing Network: Elevating the #GoRidin spirit, HMSI inaugurated BigWing in Cuttack (Odisha).
RedWing Network: HMSI expanded its presence in Bihar with the inauguration of new dealership in Purnia (Bihar).
- Road Safety: Expanding road safety awareness in India, HMSI conducted awareness campaigns in 6 cities across India – Udaipur (Rajasthan), Sehore (Madhya Pradesh), Wayanad (Kerala), Ramgarh (Jharkhand), Umden (Meghalaya) and Chandigarh.
The company also celebrated the 7th anniversary of its Traffic Training Park in Ludhiana (Punjab).
- CSR: Honda India Foundation (HIF) commenced its flagship program Project Pragati (One Step towards Growth) in Udaipur (Rajasthan) & Pune (Maharashtra) to support the economically poor youth of the society by facilitating training to them for their livelihood and to develop a sustainable society.
Motorsports: IDEMITSU Honda Racing India’s Kavin Quintal, AS James and Prakash Kamat secured 1-2-3 positions in Race 1 of IDEMITSU Honda India Talent Cup NSF 250R Open class Round 2. Whereas Shyam Sundar claimed his first victory of 2023 season in race 2 of category followed by AS James on 2nd and Raheesh Khatri on 3rd position.
