Suzuki 2 Wheelers India announced the launch of a premium adventure motorcycle called V-Strom 800DE. Suzuki claims the motorcycle embraces the idea of “Adventure is its Purpose” and the product is developed keeping the riders who are into both touring as well as for daily commuting.
Suzuki V-Strom 800DE Engine and Other Technical details
The all new V-Strom 800DE motorcycle is powered by Suzuki’s newly developed 776c parallel twin engine which is optimized for offering plenty of torque, power and control and smooth throttle response. The 270 degree Crankshaft in the engine helps in high quality smooth ride performance with a great level of torque and traction. The motorcycle also features patented Suzuki Cross Balancer System that suppresses vibration and helps in smooth operation of the bike.
Other unique features of all new Suzuki V-Strom 800DE motorcycle include: liquid cooling system, a 2-into-1 exhaust system with dual-stage catalytic converter, and Suzuki clutch assist system that helps in reducing fatigue during long rides and for easy shifting.
Other features of all new Suzuki V-Strom 800DE include wide tapered handlebars, short windscreen with 3-step adjustment option, solid grab rails on each side for better pillion aid,. The all new V-Strom 800DE is equipped with Suzuki Intelligent Ride System(SIRS) that assists in riding over different terrains.
The motorcycle is packed with features like Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS), Suzuki Traction Control System (STSC) with the introductory G (Gravel) mode, Ride-by-Wire Electronic Throttle System, Bi-directional Quick Shift System (with ON/OFF settings), Two-Mode Antilock Braking System (ABS), Suzuki Easy Start System, and Low RPM Assist.
The motorcycle gets SHOWA suspension for the front and the back. The fuel tank capacity of V-Strom 800DE is 20 litres. The bike is equipped with 310mm disc brakes and has a ground clearance of 220mm. In the front, Suzuki V-Strom 800DE gets a 5-inch color TFT LCD multi-information screen with night and day modes
