Honda Prelude Hybrid India Launch: Price, Specs & Features of the Sporty Coupe

Honda is gearing up to reintroduce the iconic Prelude nameplate to the Indian market. The Japanese automaker plans to bring the sporty coupe to India as a fully imported Completely Built Unit (CBU), positioning it as a niche, brand-building product. This move signals Honda’s intent to reconnect with enthusiasts and elevate its brand image in the country.

The vehicle was recently showcased to a select group of Indian journalists during a media drive event in Japan, confirming the company’s serious consideration for the Indian market.

  • A 10.2-inch fully digital instrument screen.
  • A 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
  • A wireless smartphone charger.
  • An eight-speaker Bose premium audio system.

To enhance the driving experience, the model incorporates Honda’s newly developed S+ shift system. It also offers multiple driving modes to suit different conditions, including Comfort, GT, Sport, and Individual.
