Mahindra BE 6 Formula E Edition Debuts as Official Safety Car at IRL Goa Street Race

The Mahindra BE 6 Formula E Edition recently took the lead as the Official Safety Car during the Indian Racing League (IRL) Goa Street Race. This event, which served as Round 4 of the 2025–26 season, marked the first-ever street circuit hosted in Goa.

Motorsport Precision and Engineering

Built on Mahindra’s specialized INGLO platform, the BE 6 Formula E Edition is heavily influenced by the manufacturer’s journey in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. The vehicle is designed to blend motorsport-inspired styling with advanced electric vehicle (EV) technology and precision engineering. This approach reflects the brand’s core philosophy of creating machines “Inspired by the Circuit” while being “Built for the City”.

  • Driving Range: Over 680 km (MIDC claimed)
