Ather Energy Doubles its Service Network to 500 Centres Across India
Ather Energy Limited, a prominent Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has announced the expansion of its service network to 500 authorised centres across India. This growth aligns with the company’s expanding retail footprint and its commitment to ensuring seamless EV ownership for riders across various markets.
Key Service Initiatives
To improve customer experience and service efficiency, Ather has introduced specialized service offerings alongside its standard maintenance:
- Gold Service Centres: These facilities are equipped with modern customer lounges, advanced service equipment, and streamlined processes to enhance service reliability and transparency.
- ExpressCare: Designed for quick turnarounds, this initiative offers a 60-minute periodic maintenance service. It allows riders to complete routine check-ups conveniently without a compromise in quality and is currently available at 82 centres.

Growth and Retail Alignment
In FY26, Ather Energy nearly doubled its service footprint, expanding from 277 to 500 service centres. According to Ravneet Singh Phokela, Chief Business Officer at Ather Energy, building reliable after-sales support alongside sales capacity has been a core focus since the early days. He emphasized that ensuring riders have access to trained technicians and transparent processes becomes increasingly critical as the brand’s presence grows.

This service expansion responds to the strong demand for both the Ather 450 performance line and the Rizta family scooter, which have helped the company reach new markets and customer segments. The growth of the service network across Tier-1, Tier-2, and emerging cities complements Ather’s goal to scale its retail presence to 700 Experience Centres by FY26. As of December 31, 2025, the company operated 600 Experience Centres.

Strengthening the EV Ecosystem
Alongside its service and retail expansion, Ather continues to invest in India’s EV charging infrastructure. As of December 31, 2025, the Ather Grid represents the country’s largest two-wheeler fast-charging network, featuring over 4,357 fast-charging points and neighbourhood chargers globally.
